deMoor designs understands that no two residential projects are alike. We spend time up front helping our clients to determine the vision, the scope of the project and any budgetary considerations. We are flexible in delivering as much or as little of the services needed to meet your requirements. Our expertise is in architectural and interior design and project management. We also have a network of excellent engineers, architects and contractors to provide a total design build solution. The following are typical services that deMoor designs provides:

Architectural & Interior Design

Investigation of Existing Conditions

• Review the information provided by you, site measurements & conditions, research code requirements.

Preliminary Design Concepts

• Based upon interviews with you, we prepare preliminary sketches.
• We work with you to make sure we are on the right track with your vision and any other considerations.

Design Development

• Begin to create and formalize the design ideas for the project. Design iterations will be presented to you for discussion and input. This includes space planning, fixture and cabinet placement and lighting programs along with architectural detail.
• Submittals to the City or County Planning Department are also part of this phase. At completion of this phase, the client will be asked to approve the design for production of construction drawings.

Construction Documents

• In this phase plans, elevations, details and specifications are produced in order to get a building permit and bids from contractors.
• We also begin to work on finishing detail such as lighting and plumbing fixtures, trim detail, tile and stonework, floor choices, stains and paint colors.
• We will present the drawings to the building and planning department or the architectural review board if necessary.

Construction Management

• deMoor designs can take the burden of managing the project for you.
• This includes the selection and assembly of a turnkey design build team.
• We coordinate site visits and meetings amongst the designers, engineers and contractors. We select finishing work for your approval and we can help manage the timeline and budget. We are the lead for issues as they arise.
